RMAS Commandant's Parade
10 April 2024

This is a rare opportunity to visit RMAS and witness a spectacular military parade supported by an accomplished military band and will prove highly attractive to friends and family who have never been to Sandhurst.  For Waggon Club members who are alumni of RMAS it will stir “fond” memories of short nights, show parades and ironing!

Tickets for the event are £70.00 which includes admission to the parade, the three course lunch and drinks.  For Waggon Club members who are alumni of RMAS tickets will be £60.00 per head.

Please complete the following by 1 March 2024.

AGM & Annual Dinner

Saturday 11 May 2024

Your Committee has been working very hard over the past year to organise new and different events for this year’s programme, the take-up of which has been satisfying so far. We value your views on these events and our plans for the future, including liaising more directly with the remaining RLC Reserve Units around the country to encourage new members.  The results of the member’s survey will be presented at the AGM. We will also seek approval of the Revised rules which will be circulated later.  We have two speakers, Col Phil Stone, Col Res RLC: to update us on RLC and Reserve matters, and our own Lt Col Richard Williams: to speak on “The state of UK Defence Forces in these dangerous times.” I encourage you to join us there and help shape the future of the club.

In the evening we can again enjoy our traditional military Annual Dinner amongst friends and comrades in the Mess. As the cost of all functions continue to rise, David Palmer has worked with the Mess to keep costs as low as possible, whilst providing the full service we expect. We have managed, by using the increased grant from the RLC Association Trust Fund via the RASC/RCT Council to maintain the member charge at only £65 per person – a real bargain which we hope you will take advantage of, as one of the benefits of Waggon Club membership.
